Dr. Kurt Walker is the founder of Palm View Audiology and Speech Therapy, established in 2024 with his wife, Jennifer. Practicing in the Jupiter area since 2014, Dr. Walker is a distinguished member of the American Academy of Audiology, the Florida Academy of Audiology, and the American Balance Society.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from the University of Northern Iowa and earned his Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Iowa. During his time there, he served as a research assistant in the tinnitus clinic at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Walker's extensive training included a clinical fellowship at the Mayo School of Health Sciences where he contributed to audiological and vestibular research and presented his findings at national conferences.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Walker enjoys quality time with his two sons and stays active within the community. He has a passion for sports and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Jennifer (Janssen) Walker, MA CCC-SLP, co-founded Palm View Audiology and Speech Therapy with her husband, Dr. Kurt Walker, in 2024. Jennifer earned her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Northern Iowa, following double Bachelor's degrees in Health and Human Performance and Psychology from Iowa State University.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has held roles as an acute care Speech-Language Pathologist in medical/hospital settings. Jennifer has 13+ years of experience of evaluating, diagnosing, and treating dysphagia (swallowing problems) and communication disorders. Her expertise is in patient populations including complex medical histories, acute neurologic disorders (traumatic brain injury, stroke), progressive neurologic disorders (Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Dementia, ALS, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS), and Head and Neck Cancer. Jennifer has worked in various Outpatient settings and private pay concierge therapy services throughout her career, as well. Jennifer’s experience in acute care performing highly specialized videofluoroscopic swallow studies, allows for in depth understanding of diagnosis of dysphagia (swallowing problems) to provide the most effective treatment plan.
Jennifer is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a current Florida State Licensure for the practice of Speech-Language Pathology. Jennifer prides herself in providing evidence based treatment plans and comprehensive care to her patients.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys staying active and spending quality moments with her husband and two sons.
Dr. Daniela Cardona, Au.D, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She completed her doctoral degree in Audiology at Nova Southeastern University, graduating with honors in April 2020.
Dr. Cardona’s extensive training includes electrophysiology, vestibular evaluations (balance/vertigo), hearing, tinnitus, adult/pediatric diagnostic evaluations, as well as servicing hearing aids and cochlear implants. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cardona enjoys spending quality time with her family, working out, spending time outdoors, and going on missions trips. She actively volunteers in her community and is a part of multiple non-profit organizations.
Dr. Kate Wooten has worked in the field of audiology since 2009 and brings 17 years of patient care experience serving both pediatric and adult populations. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Michigan State University in 2008 and her Doctorate in Audiology from Nova Southeastern University in 2012.
She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association since 2012.
Throughout her career, Dr. Wooten has provided audiological care in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, otolaryngology offices, and educational audiology. Her areas of expertise include comprehensive audiological assessments, hearing aid selection, fitting and fine-tuning, auditory processing assessments, and patient counseling. She is passionate about helping patients improve their hearing, communication, and overall quality of life through compassionate, individualized care.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Wooten enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and dogs. She loves gardening, enjoying the Florida sunshine, and cheering on her sons at rowing events.
Jessica Murtha is a Jupiter, Florida native whose life has always been centered around the coast, community, and helping others. Professionally, she works as an Audiologist and Speech Assistant while also serving as a Billing Coordinator and Phone Operator. She is currently pursuing her goal of becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), combining her passion for healthcare with a commitment to lifelong learning.
When she’s not working or studying, Jessica embraces the South Florida lifestyle she grew up loving. Whether she’s out on the water boating, diving local reefs, or enjoying a day in the sunshine, the ocean has always been a big part of her life. A dedicated athlete and coach, she played volleyball throughout her life and now coaches travel volleyball, sharing her love for the sport with the next generation. Jessica values family, community, and the laid-back coastal lifestyle that makes Jupiter such a special place to call home.
